Develop resilient, fire-adapted communities through wildfire preparedness, fuels mitigation, and specialized response to brush fires.

  1. Average amount of Operations overtime funds expended per pay period
  2. Number of Structural Ignition Zone Evaluations (SIZE) conducted
  3. Number of free smoke alarms installed
  4. Percent of customers satisfied with the quality of Austin Fire services
  5. Percent of emergency incidents where amount of time between call receipt and arrival of AFD unit is 8 minutes or less
  6. Percent of structure fires confined to room of origin
