Measure Description
The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report is prepared by the Financial and Administrative Services Department, Controller's Office. The combined financial statements and related notes are audited by an independent firm. This audit satisfies Article VII, Section 16 of the City Charter, which requires an annual audit of all accounts of the City by an independent Certified Public Accountant. Since GASB 34, the independent auditors express an opinion on each major reporting unit (fund)
