Measure:

Percent of employees who have completed public health emergency preparedness training
Measure Description
The percent of full time, permanent APH employees who have completed all required FEMA courses and their yearly PHEP training. If an employee has been with APH for less than 1 year, they are exempt from the annual PHEP training. If an employee participated in a recognized response, they are exempt from the annual PHEP training.?FEMA Basic Courses are not a requirement for seasonal, less than part-time/<.5FTEs, personnel who have separated within the reporting year, or personnel who still have 90-days to complete their courses (onboarded Jul-Sep). More inclusive list includes Austin Youth Development non management staff who are not a FTE status of 1 (<1.0FTEs); Any employee that falls below a 0.5 FTE status (<.5FTEs); City contractors; Pro re nata (PRN) or as needed staff; VISTAs; Interns. Timesheet codes for position #s typically begin with "T", "S" or "C".
