Average of Travis County School Vaccination Rates
Measure Description
Texas state requires Travis County public school vaccination records to be on file for all kindergarten and 7th Grade students. The Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Title 25 Health Services, ยงยง97.61-97.72 Texas Administrative Code (state.tx.us) includes immunization requirements for several facilities serving children and students. The same rules require that those facilities maintain records of immunization. Furthermore, all public school districts and accredited private schools must submit annual reports of the immunization status of students, in a format prescribed by the Department of State Health Services, to monitor compliance with the immunization requirements.
