Under general direction and working independently, this position organizes, develops, and manages core programs, projects, and activities within a division of the Watershed Protection Department. |
| Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: |
| |
Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.
- Plans, organizes, directs, and reviews development and coordination of a division with the Watershed Protection Department.
- Develops, manages, and implements strategic business plan for the division.
- Develops, manages, and provides goals and priorities for department programs.
- Develops, manages, and monitors division operating budget(s).
- Develops, monitors, and reports on performance measures for the division.
- Presents to executive management on division projects and activities; and attends industry, community, City Council, and Commission meetings, as required.
- Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and City codes, ordinances, and regulations.
- Monitors contracts and contractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Develops, manages, implements, and monitors standard operating procedures, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinates department projects with City departments, department consultants, and other similar service providers and interacts with internal and external customers to assess and deliver business services.
- May represent Director, Assistant Director, and department at industry functions.

| Minimum Qualifications: |
| |
- Graduation with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related field, plus six (6) years of experience, including three (3) years of experience in a leadership or management capacity.
- Graduation with a Master's degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for two (2) years of leadership or managerial experience.
- For Field Operations & Customer Service Division Manager ONLY: Experience may substitute for education up to a maximum of four (4) years.
