Purpose: | |||
Under the general direction of the Director of Libraries, responsible for the effective delivery of library support services for the Austin Public Library. This position will be responsible for administrative, financial, and human resources operations activities, including program coordination and development, fiscal accountability, policy development, consultation, special projects, data analysis, and reporting. |

Responsibilities - Supervisor and/or Leadership Exercised: | |||
Responsible for the full range of supervisory and management activities including selection, training, evaluation, counseling, and recommendation for dismissal. |

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: | |||
Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

Minimum Qualifications: | |||
Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of progressively responsible upper management level experience in a related field. |
