Under general direction and working independently, organize, develop, and manage core programs/projects/activities within a Building Inspection division of the Watershed Protection Department |

Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed. Knowledge of supervisory and managerial techniques and principles.
Knowledge of applicable processes, techniques, and methods.
Knowledge of Federal, State, Local laws, and ordinances governing.
Knowledge of city practice, policy, and procedures.
Knowledge of fiscal planning and budget preparation.
Knowledge of the principals and practices of public administration.
Skill in directing the activities of a large and complex organization.
Skill in analyzing problems related to service delivery.
Skill in handling conflict and uncertain situations.

Minimum Qualifications: | |||
Bachelor's Degree in related field plus five (5) years of relevant related experience, including two (2) years of supervisory experience with a large maintenance/construction type work group. |
