Purpose: | |||
Under general supervision, perform a variety of standardized chemical, hematological, microscopic, and bacteriological tests, as well as assisting less experienced personnel in the performance of their duties. |

May provide leadership, work assignments, evaluation, training, and guidance to others. |

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: | |||
Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

Minimum Qualifications: | |||
Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, plus one (1) year of experience in a field related to working in a clinical laboratory. |

Licenses and Certifications Required: | |||
Certification as a Medical Technologist by the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or the National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel (NCA) or other recognized association. |
