Vehicle Scheduler I

Purpose:
  Under general supervision, schedule maintenance on light duty vehicles.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:
  Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.
  1. Manage maintenance schedule for light duty equipment i.e. pickups, sedans, service bodies, and etc.
  2. Track downtime and coordinate unscheduled maintenance on vehicles.
  3. Schedule regular maintenance.
  4. General office duties, as assigned.
  5. Transport vehicles to, and from the appropriate service center
Responsibilities - Supervisor and/or Leadership Exercised:
  None.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.
  • Ability to follow oral and written directives.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with customers and service center personnel.
  • Ability to operate a computer, including knowledge of databases and E-mail.
Minimum Qualifications:
 
  • Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent, plus one (1) year experience in a field related to the job.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
 
  • Appropriate Texas Drivers License.
  • If required must obtain an appropriate Commercial Drivers License (CDL) within ninety (90) days of employment with the City.
