Purpose: | |||
Under general supervision, perform a variety of moderately complex engineering and technical tasks in support of the Austin Water Utility (AWU) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Electronic Security systems (ESS). Exercises judgment within defined methods, procedures, and practices. |

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: | |||
Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed. Ability to understand database design and application development. |

Minimum Qualifications: | |||
Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a field related to Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics plus two(2) years in a field related to SCADA or process control. |

Licenses and Certifications Required: | |||
Valid driver’s license. |
