Purpose: | |||
Under minimal direction, supervises the daily activities, operations, and personnel in support of Austin Energy’s Green Building and Sustainability Division, including implementing long range Green Building and Sustainability projects and programs to promote sustainability in design and construction. |

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. 1. Assists the Green Building and Sustainability Manager with the implementation of Austin Energy’s long range green building and sustainability plans. |

Responsibilities - Supervisor and/or Leadership Exercised: | |||
Responsible for the full range of supervisory activities including selection, training, evaluation, counseling, and recommendation for dismissal. |

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: | |||
Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed. Knowledge of green building and sustainability standards and legislation regarding state and local LEED and other sustainability mandates.

Minimum Qualifications: | |||
Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Architecture, Business, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or in a field related to the job, plus six (6) years of related experience. |
