Purpose: | |||
Under general direction, manage the activities and personnel engaged in planning, developing, and monitoring the City’s Capital Improvement Program. |

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. 1. Advises the Division Manager, Department Director, and City Management on issues, opportunities, and status. |

May provide leadership, work assignments, evaluation, training, and guidance to others |

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: | |||
Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed. Knowledge of modern methods, planning tools, and models, of fiscal or capital planning and capital budget. |

Minimum Qualifications: | |||
Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a field related to Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Planning, or a field related to the job, plus five (5) years of experience conducting activities related to capital budgeting or planning initiatives two (2) of which were in a lead or /supervisory capacity A Master's degree in a field related to Business Administration, Public Administration or related field plus three (3) years of experience Two (2) of which were in a lead or supervisory capacity may substitute for the required education and experience |
