Purpose: | |||
Development, project management, and oversight of single family, multi-family, mixed use and infrastructure projects to provide affordable housing. |

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. 1. Develops and oversees construction related activities resulting in affordable housing and other community development including scope of work write-ups, cost estimates, contract bid documents and site inspections |

Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed. Knowledge of affordable housing development process, including funding programs such as using low income housing tax credits, federal housing programs such as HOME, CDBG, and other affordable housing financing programs.

Minimum Qualifications: | |||
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related field plus five (5) years of related work experience including two (2) years as a construction project manager |

Licenses and Certifications Required: | |||
• A valid Texas drivers license or must be able to obtain within 60 days of employment |
