Purpose:
  Under close supervision, works in conjunction with other clerical and administrative personnel to perform a variety of routine clerical duties for the Municipal Court following established policies and procedures.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:
  Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.
1. Enters traffic, parking and criminal misdemeanor cases into computer system.
3. Operates computer to retrieve case and defendant information and/or update defendant address.
4. Greets visitors and directs general public to appropriate area. Answers telephone and handles routine questions from the general public, routing calls or taking messages as needed.
5. Responds to record requests, including certifying documents.
7. Records data on appropriate form/log.
8. Verifies data for accuracy and completeness.
9. Distributes materials

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.
Skill in oral and written communications.
Skill in handling multiple tasks and prioritizing.
Skill in using computers and related software.
Skill in planning and organizing.
Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other city employees and the public.
Ability to exercise discretion in confidential matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
  Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent plus one (1) year of general clerical or secretarial experience.

  None.
