Purpose: | |||
Under close supervision, assists Equipment Technicians with tasks involving the maintenance and repair of vehicles and other motorized equipment including, trailers maintained by Fleet Services.

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. 1. Refuels and performs preventive maintenance on a variety of types of vehicles and other equipment.
2. Changes all type of tires and perform repairs to small tires.
3. Lubricates vehicles and changes oil and filters.
4. Initiates minor repairs and changes belts, hoses, windshield wipers, etc.
5.Records maintenance and service information and data on designated forms.
6. Transports vehicles of all types including heavy vehicles. |
