Purpose: | |||
Working independently, manages daily operations of branch, work unit, or major support program service activity for the Library system. |

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: | |||

Responsibilities - Supervisor and/or Leadership Exercised: | |||
Responsible for the full range of supervisory activities including selection, training, evaluation, counseling and recommendation for dismissal. |

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: | |||
Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

Minimum Qualifications: | |||
Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited university, plus four (4) years as a professional librarian, two (2) years of which as a lead or supervisor. |

Licenses and Certifications Required: | |||
May require a valid operator's license and the use of a personal vehicle. |

Physical Requirements: | |||
Must be able to stoop, bend, walk, and reach heights of up to six (6) feet. |
