The central mission of the Austin Convention Center Department is to deliver world-class event facilities and exceptional service that drive economic vitality, while reflecting the values of the City of Austin through community engagement, public art, sustainability, and a uniquely Austin experience.

Provide exceptional customer service and facilities to our convention and event clients and their attendees.
Continue the financial success and stewardship of the department whereby total revenue exceeds requirements.
Austin Convention Center continues to add to the local economy through Austin's hospitality industry.
Develop a well-trained, customer-oriented Austin Convention Center Department workforce.
